Ingredients
  1. 1 Cup Plain Yogurt
  2. 3 Cups Water
  3. 3 Table spoon Gram Dal Flour
  4. 2 Teaspoon Ghee
  5. 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  6. 1 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  7. 5 Curry Leaves
  8. 2-3 Garlic Chopped
  9. 2-3 Green or Red Chilies
  10. Cilantro Chopped
  11. 2 Pinch of Turmeric
  12. 2 Pinch of Asafoetida (Hing)
  13. 1/2 Teaspoon Sugar
  14. Salt as required
Instructions
  1. Beat the curd and then add water, gram dal flour, and salt and mix it well.
  2. Melt the ghee in the hot pan on low fire.
  3. Add garlic, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, chilies, curry leaves, hing, turmeric, and sugar.
  4. Then add the above curd mixture in the pan and add salt as required.
  5. Stir it continuously, so that it won't stick to the bottom.
  6. Once it starts getting thick, take it out from fire.
  7. Depending on how thick you want the kadhi, keep on stirring.
  8. Serve the kadhi with chopped cilantro.

  1. Good for Vata and Pitta, Increases Kapha
